WHAT WE OFFER
We are high school friends who have played music together for over 15 years. Based in Melbourne, 'Stock Standard' play together as an acoustic duo, an acoustic trio and as a cover band. We have played hundreds of gigs at weddings, functions and in many of Victoria's biggest and best pubs. We love music and gigging together and hope that everyone who hears us play has as much fun as we have while we're playing.
With years of experience playing a diverse range of gigs, we're confident that we can put on a show that will set the right atmosphere for any bar or function; from a relaxed background performance to an energetic show that will have the whole crowd jumping!
Stock Standard Acoustic Duo is made up of Dave and Whitey, who are high school friends and have played professionally together for over 14 years. As an acoustic duo we both play acoustic guitars and sing. We also use a kick drum stomp box and a loop pedal to produce a full sound that will get your crowd singing at the top of their lungs and cutting up the dance floor!
Stock Standard Acoustic Trio is made up of Dave, Whitey and Scotty. The three of us have played gigs together as a trio and in bands for over 9 years. As an acoustic trio, Dave and Whitey both play acoustic guitars and sing, while Scotty makes the sound even fuller and shreds solos on the electric guitar. The acoustic trio is so much fun for any bar or function!
Stock Standard Cover Band is made up of Dave, Whitey, Scotty and one or two other professional musicians with many years of experience. The band has had residencies at some of Victoria's biggest pubs and has also played together at many weddings and functions.
